We will dive into the 3 Master Keys of Web Management:
Key 1: The Standardizer (School Content Management). Stop the "Free-for-All" at the school level. Learn how to define "Minimum Content Standards" that turn your school websites into a cohesive, reliable resource for families. We’ll discuss how to support school-based pagemasters so they can promote events and serve as primary resources without breaking the "locks" of accessibility.
Key 2: The Collaborator (District Content & AI). Don't get stuck in the "Drafting Dungeon." We will explore how to develop and refine district-level content using AI-driven workflows. Learn how to use AI as a secret weapon to collaborate with district colleagues, ensuring your content is evergreen, accurate, and speaks the language of your community.

Monica’s professional journey began with a degree in Geology, but she quickly traded the study of ancient rocks for the much more unpredictable terrain of K-12 education. A 24-year veteran of Chesapeake Public Schools, Monica evolved from classroom teacher to Technology Integration Specialist before taking on a new challenge in 2020: serving as the district’s first-ever Webmaster.
Tasked with managing a digital ecosystem of 48 schools and 40,000 students, Monica has developed a strong skillset in solving the complex "content puzzles" that face large districts. Her approach is rooted in fierce pragmatism; she isn’t interested in the latest trend unless it is a strategy or tool that actually works to unlock efficiency, accessibility, and better customer service for families.
A dedicated member of the NSPRA community since 2020, Monica is a firm believer that "we all do better when we all do better." She is passionate about sharing the lessons and solutions to puzzles she’s discovered along her journey, providing colleagues with the checklists, AI workflows, and data-driven maps they need to navigate their own digital landscapes.
